What IT leads, managing directors and tech founders typically want to know before the first call.

Do you work outside Frankfurt?

Yes. Mandates DACH-wide (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Frankfurt is the seat. First calls via video or on-site. Build phases run remote with weekly demos.

What does a typical engagement cost?

Conditions on request. Sprint Zero as fixed price, Build Sprint either fixed price by scope or Time & Material, Engineering Retainer with three tiers (Light 4 days, Standard 8 days, Strategic 12 days per month). Non-binding quote after the initial call.

How quickly can you start?

Sprint Zero typically within 2 to 4 weeks. Build sprint start after Sprint Zero, depending on current capacity. Current slots in the capacity section.

Do you work with our existing team?

Yes. In the Strategic retainer we join the standup, sprint planning and Slack. In a build sprint we coordinate via shared Linear or Jira backlog.

Who owns the code after the project?

You do, from the first commit. The git repo lives in your account (GitHub or GitLab). We hold no licensing rights to the code.

Which industries do you serve?

DACH Mittelstand with own product or digital business model. Focus: manufacturing Mittelstand (mechanical engineering, specialty chemicals), B2B service providers (logistics, professional services), regional banks and smaller insurers, healthcare and social-sector organizations, B2B FinTech suppliers. Tech founders and software teams as organic referrals only.

Do you offer maintenance after the build?

Yes, via Engineering Retainer. Light (4 days / 32 hours) covers maintenance, small features, bug fixes and security updates. Higher tiers (Standard, Strategic) for active continued development.

Why not Vercel, AWS or OpenAI direct?

Because a GDPR incident in production is more expensive than 4 weeks of engineering for a sovereign default. We pick US tools only where the customer decides deliberately.

Can advisory engagements be funded?

On request and where the client qualifies, yes, via the Hesse business advisory grant (RKW Hessen) or the federal BAFA SME advisory grant. Funded engagements are a separate strategic pre-phase, contractually distinct from the engineering mandate. We discuss this concretely in the first call.

How do you handle GDPR and data processing?

Data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is available as standard. Hosting on IONOS Berlin, AI layer on Azure OpenAI EU region, auth via self-hosted Zitadel. No training-data sharing, contractually guaranteed.
